The trousers to match the brown jacket, in the same washable virgin wool-blend fabric. Straight cut. Stretch tailored waistband, zip fly with hook-and-bar closure, slanted front pockets, buttoned jetted back pockets. Half-lined legs, overlocked hem for length adjustment. Brown allows what a grey suit forbids: an ecru shirt, khaki knitwear, cognac shoes. Machine washable at 30°C.

53% polyester, 43% virgin wool, 4% elastane

Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, in a laundry bag. Remove the garment immediately after the cycle, reshape it and dry on a hanger in the open air. Do not tumble dry.

How to measure yourself

Measure yourself in your underwear, with a soft tape, standing and relaxed. Get someone to help with your back: a measurement taken alone is almost always too tight.

NeckAround the base of the neck, where the collar sits. Slide one finger between the tape and your skin.
ChestAt the fullest point, arms by your sides, tape level across your back.
WaistAt the narrowest point, above the navel, without pulling. Breathe normally.
HipsAt the fullest point of the hips, feet together.
Inside legFrom the crotch to the floor, barefoot, or on a pair of trousers that fits you well.
Foot lengthStanding, heel against a wall, on a sheet of paper. Use your longer foot.

Between two sizes, take the larger for a jacket or coat, the smaller for knitwear.

Do not rely on the size of your last pair of trousers. It varies by two sizes from one brand to another. Measure a pair that fits you instead, laid flat with the waistband closed: multiply the width by two.
