How to measure yourself

Measure yourself in your underwear, with a soft tape, standing and relaxed. Get someone to help with your back: a measurement taken alone is almost always too tight.

NeckAround the base of the neck, where the collar sits. Slide one finger between the tape and your skin.
ChestAt the fullest point, arms by your sides, tape level across your back.
WaistAt the narrowest point, above the navel, without pulling. Breathe normally.
HipsAt the fullest point of the hips, feet together.
Inside legFrom the crotch to the floor, barefoot, or on a pair of trousers that fits you well.
Foot lengthStanding, heel against a wall, on a sheet of paper. Use your longer foot.

Between two sizes, take the larger for a jacket or coat, the smaller for knitwear.

The neck column applies to shirts only. For a jumper worn over a shirt, go up one size.

By cut

Slim fitClose to the body, tapered at the waist. Between two sizes, take the larger.
Coupe droiteFalls straight without marking the waist. Follow the table as it is.
Coupe confortExtra room through the chest. You can go down one size.

A jacket size is half your chest measurement: a 100 cm chest is a size 50.

The shoulder seam decides. It must sit exactly at the corner of your shoulder. A jacket can be taken in at the waist and sleeves, never at the shoulders.
